

Deck The Halls!
MAIA students propagated Christmas cheer by shopping for Christmas decorations for the hallways. They explored two different stores to find the things that they thought would look fantastic hung up in the halls. Afterward they worked together to hang lights, garland, bells, and wreaths to make the halls beautiful!


Christmas Ornament Decorating
Students gathered together to make holiday ornaments! Listening to cheerful Christmas music, MAIA students transformed plain glass ornaments into beautiful pieces of art.


Volunteer Trip To King Elementary School
MAIA students volunteered their time on November 30th by visiting the King Elementary School. They participated in the classes by helping teachers with math, art, music, and physical education. The elementary school students loved meeting new friends from MAIA and were eager to learn about them. MAIA students also got to stay after school with the Chinese Club and helped teach chopstick skills to the students.


Student Of The Month!
Twelve students were nominated in November as students of the month! They received a pizza party as a thank you from the MAIA staff for being such great role models and positive influences in the MAIA community.


MAIA Badminton Tournament
Students took part in a hotly contested one-on-one badminton tournament in MAIA's new indoor court. Each match was hard-fought, and some superb shots were made, wowing the spectators. In the end, Harry Liu emerged victorious over Jason Pan!


Worcester State University International Food Fair
Worcester State University invited 5 MAIA students to show off Chinese cooking at their Annual International Food Fair. MAIA students prepared a meal under the helpful guidance of SA Ather the day before the event. The next day they headed with SA Luuk and their tasty Fried Milk treats to WSU. It was a success! In only 10 minutes every last piece of Fried Milk was gone. Additionally, MAIA students got to talk with WSU staff, meet international college students, and try variou
