In charge of in-class learning, MAIA's faculty have a variety of experiences both in and out of the classroom. Faculty are employed on a full-time basis and teach four classes daily. All faculty members have a masters degree in TESOL or a masters degree in a closely related field and a TESOL certificate with many years of relevant experience.
Through their own formal education and prior teaching experiences, faculty are familiar with curriculum, assessment, and the teaching skills essential to an effective language program. MAIA faculty participate in events, activities, and clubs around the campus, enhancing their own connections with students and each student's unique MAIA learning experience.
