Jason Hash is from Portland, Oregon in the Pacific Northwest and recently returned to the US after living in Iceland for two years. He received his Bachelor’s in International Studies, Anthropology and Medieval Studies from Portland State University in 2015, and holds a Master’s in History from The University of Iceland. He completed the International Baccalaureate program in High School and has loved to travel ever since. Jason is grateful to have spent most of his education abroad including time in Beijing, China as well as Japan, Cyprus, and Denmark. He has enjoyed working with Chinese students for over five years as a program assistant in Portland and is thrilled to be joining the team at MAIA here in Massachusetts to continue working in International Education and helping students flourish. In his spare time he indulges his passion for global history, art, and classical literature, and can often be found cooking delicious vegetarian food or watching obscure documentaries on Netflix.
