Boston Symphony Orchestra Chamber Music @ Northeastern University

6 lucky MAIA students had the chance to attend a free event by the Boston Symphony Orchestra and hosted by Northeastern University. The series was comprised of 2 violins, 1 viola, 1 flute, and 1 cello. Audibly vigorous and rousing, sometimes melancholy, the pieces selected were all composed by historical figures that went to school and created music while in Boston. Expertly put on display through their masterful playing of notes, the BSO performed Arthur Foote, Florence Price, Ginastera, and Ravel all within an hour. Students walked away with deep appreciation.
