MAIA cooks for International Food Festival

Last week, MAIA students got to know other international students in the area at Worcester State's International Food Festival! Seven students shopped at the nearby Asian market in the evening on Thursday, and spent the night cooking dishes typical of the student's homes and hometowns. Noodles, meat dishes, and yummy sauces were the go-to favorites. On Friday, the students attended the International Food Festival and served their dishes at a table especially decorated with MAIA's logo and some decorations from China.

Students got to sample food from Brazil, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and even Vietnam! It's great to know there is such an international community right here in Massachusetts and to celebrate students from all over the world.
