Tom Randolph has worked in TESOL administration and teacher development on four continents, including stints with the US, Polish, and Indonesian governments. Most recently Tom was Program Coordinator and Intercultural Communication Coordinator of SMU-TESOL in Seoul, South Korea, an MA-level TESOL certification program created with the University of Maryland, Baltimore County at Sookmyung Women's University.  Tom has mentored and certified more than a thousand top English teachers around the world, and guided many of them into US graduate schools of TESOL.

 

Tom earned an RSA Dip.TEFLA while teaching with the British Council in Poland, and an MS in Applied Sociolinguistics under Dr. Ron Scollon at Georgetown University, after an early career as an actor with a renowned Polish experimental theater research laboratory. He is a certified Level 2 Google Educator, opened an English academy in Indonesia for George Mason University, and is passionate about classroom culture and intercultural communication. Tom loves dogs, jazz, and learning how to become a better person!
