The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth (UMD)  is one of five campuses of the University of Massachusetts system. UMD distinguishes itself as a vibrant, public research university dedicated to engaged learning and innovative research resulting in personal and lifelong student success. 
 

UMass Dartmouth has recently achieved the rank of #218 among National Universities, according to the 2020 US News and World Report. The Charlton College of Business undergraduate programs earned a #150 ranking among the U.S. News’ “Best Business Programs.”

Located on 710 acres on the South Coast of Massachusetts, UMass Dartmouth enrolls more than 9,400 students in more than 40 undergraduate and 25 graduate degree programs, including 4 at the doctoral level. 

Programs are offered in the College of Arts and Sciences, the Charlton College of Business, the College of Engineering, the College of Nursing, the College of Visual and Performing Arts, and the School for Marine Science and Technology (located on the waterfront in New Bedford).
