Kristen has been in the ESL profession since 2001. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida and a Master of Science degree in TESOL from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Her love for other cultures was truly realized while completing a Spanish study abroad program in San Jose, Costa Rica during her undergrad. She has taught in U.S. public schools and community college in Florida and South Carolina, International military officers at the Defense Language Institute, Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX and at ELS Language Centers, Greenville, SC. While at ELS, she was promoted to Academic Director. Being an academic director allowed her to incorporate her business background and her teaching experience which led her to Massachusetts International Academy. She grew up in New England, and has wanted to move back to the area for a long time. She is so excited to be back home and also continue to work in a profession that she loves! In her free time, she and her husband, and their dog Alex like to hike, travel, snow ski and play tennis.
