The Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) Museum is a wonderful museum that houses modern, classic, local, and global art by famous and budding artists. This past Sunday an SA and a group of students took a trip to visit this famous university museum in the capital city of Rhode Island, Providence. Students were free to roam the collection and practiced their English reading skills as they read about each exhibit. Although the day began in the museum, students were welcome to leave the museum to grab a bite to eat or stroll through Brown University's campus, just across the street.
Students were also able to attend a small concert as a local quartet was visiting the museum on this day. After a few hours of exploring the museum, students then walked around the city and photographed the local buildings and unique architecture.
