Japan Festival Boston

This last weekend, nearly 20 MAIA students got to experience the music, food, and culture of Japan at a huge festival held in the beautiful Boston Common! The views were beautiful as well as New England has started the transition into Spring and cherry blossom season.

This event was a great opportunity for students to enjoy something different from their usual weekly Chinatown visit. They saw performances, went shopping, ate traditional Japanese food, entered contests, and enjoyed a fun day outside of MAIA. Many students had an interest in Japanese culture and really enjoy this event!
