English Table Serves Up New Opportunity for MAIA Students During Lunchtime

Today, MAIA faculty, staff, and students formally convened the first session of English Table during lunchtime. English Table gives students a chance to practice their language skills in an informal, easy-going environment, and to interact with faculty and staff. About ten students and five members of the MAIA team participated in today's inaugural meeting.

All comers were excited by the program's popularity. "It was a huge success," says Director of Student Services Rachael Elliot, "and it's a great resource for our students." Nor were only staff eager to show support; "English Table is awesome," says new student Emily Chen. English Table is currently scheduled to meet on Mondays and Thursdays at lunch time.
