The Times They Are a-Changin': MAIA Bids Farwell to Graduating Students, Welcomes New Arrivals

As the holiday season has come and passed, MAIA bid a fond farewell to the graduating class of Fall 2018, and welcomed the new arrivals for the Spring 2019 session. New students have been meeting with SAs and teachers, discussing their plans for the future, and become acclimated to life at MAIA. Although the weather outside has been frightful, MAIA students and staff have been keeping busy with a slew of fun indoor activities to bring in the new year.

To help welcome the new additions to the MAIA community, SAs organized a pizza and game night for new students to unwind after a long day of orientation, and to mingle with returning students.

Returning Students have also been keeping busy, and along with SA Sam Bor, have been following the latest trends in American cinema. Netflix's hit new film Bandersnatch, which utilizes the interactive movie format, was viewed by Sam and several students. Throughout the film, the audience must make difficult choices for the main character that affect the ending of the story, sometimes with tragic results.

All things considered, it's been an eventful winter at MAIA!
